Both halo's on one side go out at the same time?

So, today I noticed my driver side Halo's both went out... I had my oil changed a week ago, and they took off my CAI filter, do you think they could have knocked the wiring loose? is it odd for both halo's to go out at the same time? meh?!

It depends on how you have them wired. I have one inverter controlling both rings in each headlight, and when that inverter goes out, they both go out.

Darn. Would the best option be to go through focuztech to get a new inverter?

Are those the complete headlight assemblies that he was selling or is it halo rings added to stock headlights?

You've probably got a broken supply wire. Should be easy to fix. I can help if you need it.

I talked to him a while back about those because Kyle "Bigdog" had problems with his. Mike said that he cannot get them anymore, but they do come apart easy and he has some parts laying around. So like Michael said, give Mike a call and see if you two can diagnose the problem and he probably has the part to fix it. I bet it's the inverter.

I can get them, just shy away abit because they are a bit difficult to fix and the factory doesn't help with warranty headlamps. I have some leftover I think, and can get more if need be. I also have inverters in stock that will easily power those rings.

I'll take a look at them and see if I can get them to fire back up' if I can't I will give you a call for an inverter, I'm pretty sure the rings are still good. Thanks for your speedy reply Mike! Slim, hank & Michael

If you feel like a drive I will be at the shop all weekend...in fact, if you guys want to just come by and hang I will be there tomorrow ( I know where everyone will be on Sunday)...you can use the lift (no body off resto's), we can weld bend pipe or whatever...

I had two inverters die at the same time. I finally got to fixing that side and when I went to check them out one of them on the passenger side started acting funny, wouldn't come up all the way, now it is dead. I figure the inverter on that side died. I need to take a trip down and see Mike here one of these days when I get time. Looks funny driving down the road with one out.

I was wondering what could cause the inverters to have a short life and wonder if the auto start effects the voltage to them or something like that and they can't take it. The two new ones and the one old one seem to be holding up to the auto starting currently.

Just seems odd, do you have auto start on your car from factory, I know slim has an aftermarket on his.
