Bad Luck With HIDs
So I received HIDs for christmas and already i had one ballast go out on me on the driver's side. The ballast was replaced free of charger thanks to Wayne. Now on that same side the damn fog light one just went out. Do i have bad luck or could it be something wrong on the side?

before you read this whole essay lol just know that if your hid's turn on and shut off once or twice then run fine for the rest of the driving period most likely means ur bulbs need to break in so dont worry but if they constantly do that after a week or two you need to follow this below pm me if you have any more questions after reading this post
look i had bought hid kits for fogs highs and lows put them all in and they worked beautifully but thats not the point lol they only worked with the car off lol found out u need a wiring harness or resistors for it to work properly or else u have the strobe effect were they strobe like crazy and shut off simple fix for me atleast if we have the same problem here is a link were u can buy the harnesses and or resistors http://automotivelightstore.com/inde...ROD&ProdID=232 for the resistors, http://automotivelightstore.com/inde...ROD&ProdID=173 for the harness. the resistors are easier to put in and are cheaper but on back order i believe so take longer to get to u so i went with the wiring harness which took 10 mins and they work perfect hope this helps
ps. the ull need 2 harnesses if u have hid low beams and high beams and the fogs should work fine probably just a bad ballast it happens all the time the fogs dont need a harness or resistor either because they arent run off the eciu so they should always work fine like mine did when i got them they were the only thing that worked

whats up man, i had the same thing happen to me at least it was on the passenger side. Wayne replaced mines as well free of charger and then like 3 or so days later my foglight went out on the same side. not sure what the problem is but at least they are under warrenty. so its not costing anything to replace them

Hey all,
We have had some issues with the hid's. It is rather random but what is most interesting is it always seems to be the passenger side. Most of the time once we replace the ballast it doesn't happen again. I am in contact with the manufacturer to solve this issue. Thanks for your patience.

had wayne install all HID's "lows highs and fogs" and had an issue with one ballast but Wayne took care of that. Could never go back to regular bulbs now.
