Look Out for Stolen MSRT Parts in KC

My friends 07 Magnum SRT8 was broken into last night in Northern Kansas City. Apparently the theives were VERY knowledable about our fine cars as they knew enough to break in through the sun roof and then disable the alarm and to only take very specific car parts. They stole all of his personal valuables, Laptop, cell, wallet... then they tore his dash apart for the climate control unit! That's right, they left the nav unit stero and sub in the back. So these guys really knew what they could and could not move easily. Even though ripping a dash apart does not seem like an easy way to get at something, at least not to me.

Please let me know either via this thread or PM if any of you get a whiff of something like this being moved. I know it's a long shot, but there's not much else I can do to help him but ask. BTW the KCPD is doing absolutely nothing about this, they didn't even come out to take a report, just asked him to send them the details and they'd write it up! Come on now it's not like this is NYC or something. Does the KCPD have that much else to do?

Make sure you check 'Craigs list' continually someone down here in Tulsa got alot of thier stuff back that way, The "detectives' won't do it but they will arrest those when u find ur stuff. hopefully some of your stuff can be traced back to you.
