I very recently bought an 06 Charger SRT-8

Been a MOAR guy my entire life but from a performance standpoint that has always meant mid to late 60's with a few early 70's. Now I have finally entered a new era of MOPAR Perfomance.

A friend asked me why I would prefer to drive an SRT-8 over my '69 AMX. Oh my, lets see, it's qiucker, faster, more comfortable, has a kick a$$ stereo, sunroof, let's not forget A/C, 4 wheel disc brakes and cruise ... Gee, I am not sure why I would rather drive it!

I live in the Topeka area and have much to learn about the LX platform and the SRT-8 in particular. Please bare with my ignorance while I ask the stupid questions.

Oh ... and if anyone keeps track of this stuff ...

06 CHSRT in Inferno Red with 32k miles.
Option packages I and II w/sunroof.
DUB CAI w/Magnaflow cat back exhaust.
and has extended bumper to bumper untill 02/11 or 70k.
Paid 22k ... thinkin I did good.

Welcome! I love driving my SRT too, 34K trouble free miles including about 30 passes at the track and two sets of tires

Howdy. Currently living in Washington State but may be moving to Topeka, around mid Feb, for the Kansas Air Guard. I grew up around Ft Smith so I'm not totally foreign to the area. Looking forward to meeting up with with some fellow LXers in your area. I just got my ride in Aug when all the LX activities were winding down around here but I have been as active as possible in the local LX and Challenger clubs here.
