Texas Driving Experience

OK folks! Who would be interested in taking their LX to TMS to run the LeMans (yellow) course? I went about a month ago and had a blast. Got the car up to 125mph coming across the start finish line. The car handled very well against some stiff competition. Only cars that passed me were a C6 Vette and C5 Vette and some type of roadster. But after they passed I was on their ass until I ran out of gas which was embarassing. Others have done it so I didnt feel too bad?!?! How does 5mpg sound? Anways, we can setup our own group but you do take the risk of crashing your vehicle at your own expense. Dont think insurance will cover it if you hit the wall. I'm a confident driver so I'll risk it. I'll let you guys know when the next event is coming up. Here's a pic of some other cars that were out there.

that sounds cool, we used to have a bike day on the road course down there but never on the real track...if it works out let me know when it will be...

I've done the course in my BMW through Panoz Racing. Lots of fun!! Highly recommended for anyone that's never done it.

if you guys are interested and if we can get enough participants, we could setup a special event just for the LX platform. It would take at least 20 cars or so to get it done though. I'll look into the next event.

The next Texas Driving Experience public event is scheduled for Saturday, January 21st. I'll definitely be out with the Charger and hopefully with a new exhaust. Let me know if you're interested.
