HOUSTON - DALLAS meet planning

OK, I am having serious withdrawl symptoms. I have been with out my Magnum for a few months and I am thinking about shipping it to be with me in Houston. While in Phoenix I could cruise to the Pavilions every Saturday and maybe plan on a trip to the drags with a group of LX friends.

I just purchased a building in Houston that has parking for 1100 cars, located on I-45 in north Houston, and would like to see about getting a meet together at the property. Anybody out there interested? Southern Cal can get a few hundred cars together for a meet, how about here in Texas.

Hey, no, not Greenspoint, it is the old Garden Ridge building at I-45 & Airtex. Glad to see some interest, I would really like to get something going, anybody know of any of the area car dealers interested in supporting something, also any performance or other automotive based supporter, in Phoenix I could always call on some of the local suppliers of tires, wheels, etc. I don't mind spending some money to put this together, but I am more than a little lost as far as local contacts go.

Damn, that's even closer. You're right smack between 2 dealerships (Spring Dodge and Mac Haik Dodge) -- if we get serious, I'll volunteer to contact both -- bought my Mag at Mac Haik, and live just a stones throw from Spring Dodge. Maybe some of the other guys can talk to some of the other dealers.
If you ship your car in (man I'd love to see it in person) and we get a few SRT8's committed, maybe we can get the fire started.

What about Hennessey?

I'd also be willing to help out with putting things together. What are your plans for that old barn?

I am very familiar with the property. I'm sure JH would be willing to be involved as well.

I am going to try to get back to Phoenix this next weekend, and I may try to get to the Calif meet if I can still get in, I will try to arrange shipment of my car that weekend also.
I noticed the 300C Convert at that dealership, I think we could really make this happen, I will look at my calender in the next few days, and see if we can put a date to this. Got your PM I'll be in touch.

...I'm new here, but I frequent another forum. I'm in San Antonio, I have a custom 2005 300C and my wife drives a custom 2005 Magnum R/T. I can bring both to any local meets. I had a silver two-toned 300 Touring I customized and then sold to a friend of my wife's. I'll see if I can talk him into bringing it to meet as well. I look forward to meeting all of you and comparing notes!
