I was so F-ing HOT, I just got back. I ended up leaving around 11 and am home now in Abilene.

My best run was a 13.7, SUCKY. It was 89* with a humidity of 60% most of the night.

Even w/the heat I wish I could have made it. Finished up a lift kit install yesterday evening and now I'm catching up on the happenings on the form.

I just saw this post and I was talking to a friend in Hillsboro yesterday about a visit when I'm up that direction to visit Mom in Granbury.
Dang, I could have left a little earlier.
Would have liked to watch that rear end in action.

You missed a good show on my 2nd pass

I gave it too much rev up before the light and I ended up spinning the tires thru 3rd gear. The interesting part of it is that cause of Limited slip I sorta drifted with the car at about a 30 degree off straight line down the track. Apparently it was pretty cool to watch, got to be sure to be more careful off the line.

I can only imagine, But I did a little drifting once completely unexpected.
I got off 45N and was making a U turn under the freeway, very large and fairly new. Well they had a water leak I guess and was just wet, not to much just wet.
Coming out of the turn on other side I felt the rear end slide out just a little and I continued to slowly accelerate and for prolly 15-20? secs I was in a totally controlled drift.
When I finally was back on track I realized that I had done a reset that morning and neglected to recalibrate the steering wheel.

Now every time I see the cars on TV doing all the drifting I wonder if it's computer controlled like mine was. lol

Very enlightening experience.
