I see you from out my window here at work... At first glance I thought it was SD268 but no, you look stock from here.
Looks like there is a minivan on your passenger side, might want to check for dents or dings.

Actually looking at the timing of this post, I know it wasn't Pat. I talked to him around 11:30 and he was just waking up. There is no way in hell he could've gotten up and "pretttified" himself in time to get down there. LOL![]()

Hey carchitect, where do you work at? I work on Wabash too but north of that area. I'm on Wabash and Illinois.
When I was in Iraq, I always carried a picture of my car. When I was asked why I didn't carry a picture of my girl, I said "Because I know my car will be there when I get back. And because I know no one was in my car while I was gone."

11:30 is early for him...I stop at home for lunch around 1 and he is usually still in bed.
If it was Monday he was down that way for interviews...
Hey guys, I<m probably the guy who takes most of you to work. I drive a train for the CTA.
Funny guy right here..... next time I see you, I'll be sure not to miss your rear window next time!
Yep, and if things go well tomorrow and the rest of this week with my interview, you might see me downtown more often!
That's about enough out of you buddy.... I was still recovering from the Hawks game last night and the resultant celebrations!
Why you gotta tell people about my daily schedule like that? Cant a guy just enjoy his sleep?
I really dont sleep more than anyone else, I just dont go to bed until 4am, thats my problem...

& by the way, I operate on the red line & I'm ALWAYS on time.
Lol, fair enough..... I can only imagine the stuff you have seen and witnessed as a conductor on the Red Line. Man, what an interesting job that has to be. There are some real.... "interesting" people that ride the L. After taking it for 4 years down to school and back, I have seen my share. I can only imagine the stories you have.
I hate to ask this, but Im curious..... they say at some point in every train operator's life, he or she will inevitably come across someone on the tracks. Has that happened to you? Any close calls? That would be a huge fear of mine, being in your shoes. They say there is nothing you can do but look the other way when it happens.... that's gotta wear on your mind for a while. (And Im not trying to jinx you either... it was just something Ive heard before, curious if you have found it to be an unfortunate fact of the job)

It's out there again!
I'm going to have to run out there and put an LX forums card under the wiper during lunch one of these days.
You can't own a Sublime Daytona and not be a car enthusiast.

If anyone else is downtown, you might spot me. I actually drove to work today.
I normally don't drive to work because people in city tend not to care about their cars. I'm always seeing people bumping cars and just driving away. But yesterday my boss purchased a parking spot for me. And it's indoors!I guess I'm moving on up. lol
