We're heading out west tomorrow morning at approx. 8 with the goal of being in O'Fallon, MO by supper time. Have a wedding to attend in the region on Saturday, and then Sunday we're heading up to visit son, D-I-L, and the cute-as-a-button granddaughter for a few days.
The Navigator says angle up to Columbus and then fight the trucker down I-70 all the way west. Ain't havin' no part in that!
We're going to take a more direct, albeit two-lane route across southern OH and southern IN before we hit the big I-70. After all why have an LX if you're not going to tour the country, right?
SO if you see a shiny red Heritage Edition go by... hop in your ride, catch up and join us for a few miles. I'll keep Loopt open on the iPhone (if you have such the application) and you'll know right where we are... if you know my number...
If you don't and ya wanna... rip me a PM and I'll let ya in...

On the return trip we'll undoubtably take the most direct, speediest route to the NW burbs and then on Tues., or more likely Wed. head back to WV via US-30, Ft. Wayne, Lima and mid-OH as we usually do.

We think we'll be leaving O'Fallon around 9 am... that should put us in Wheeling, IL by 2:30... but Sunday is the D-I-L's birthday so we're kind of focused on her birthday dinner outing. Would be cool to swing by a M&G is possible though... just not very likely.
