June 11.. Petrifying Springs Park.... Kenosha Wis.

This is the M&G Eric asked me to get together.. Its the same setting as Starved Rock just going to be even better (I HOPE).

I called the park and reserved us a Pavilion with a big parking spot (not on grass). I called my friends over at Palmen Motors (biggest Chrysler/Dodge dealer in southeast Wis.) and they are going to be sponsoring the meet.. the pavilion and parking cost us $60, that Palmen will be picking up for us. They are also sending over a pepsi grill trailer that will be making burgers & dogs for us along with cold pepsi.. They will have their Palmen Motors banner on the trailer for anyone rolling threw to see..

I called Kenosha News and talked to the Editor. they asked me to send them some group info along with palmen sponsorship and they will do a nice write-up for us in the newspaper a few days leading up to the meet..

NOW.....

I put my name on the line with Palmen and Kenosha News and told them we'd have a good turnout.. I (we) really need you all to turn out for this meet.. we are getting some push and exposure and this could be really good for us and for future meets, and maybe some official sponsors to the group for woodward, Rt. 66, Mopars in the park, etc... so please everyone come out for this one..

Also... after the meet we can take a cruise to jelly bean factory or up the road alittle from them is a nice Culvers and thats right on I-94 with access north & south. Again peeps, PLEASE come out and support this meet. More info on covoy's and stuff to come.. as for now heres the list.

We are there. Now.....where will the Illinois convoy begin. Imagine how great this convoy could be.

i plan on hitting Farnsworth & 88 around 9:45. we stop at O'hare oasis and pickup some.. then stop at north chicago oasis and pic up the rest.. then journey to the park.. wis-magnum can get together the north of kenosha convoy.. plan on gettin to park 11:30-12:00.. the chicago convoy could be huge since most are from here..

Work it out figure some way to go and be there. This is Like the DUB show Big for US. To everyone this is Big time for the whole club and the Forums. This give us as Mike would say Cred. We can us this to get more dealer and sponsors to pay for meet. Cause in essence what were doing anytime we show up anyplace is selling DCX product. Once we get a few thing under are belt we can step up to DCX and maybe get them to sponsor things. Like the PT Cruiser guys did back in there beginnings. If any of you have been to the Chrysler Block party guess where that got started.YEp the PT boys started that and DCX picked it up for them. Things like this and the big meet in Cali show them we mean business.
