I am by no means an audiophile and most of the time I could care less about turning up the tunes.
But I do like to listen to the radio in the morning and my antenna, for lack of a better term, sucks a$$!

I don't mind at all adding a small antenna or preferrably a little shark fin to the roof and I am capable of the install (probably, if it is just a matter of plugging in and running wires, attaching to/through the roof is fine too) I just want some decent FM reception.
My problem is I have NO idea what to look for, or order, what is compatible, etc.

Can anyone add advice, or link me to a product that will work, and any considerations?
Has anyone added something like this to their Mag? Pics?
I have an 05 RT magnum with the Non-nav Boston Acoustics system, with the stock antenna in the rear glass.

Thanks :)

First of all, sorry for the long post, I just like details. Second of all, I want it to be clear that i'm not posting this to bash, or discourage anyone from purchasing anything. I'm posting to see if anyone else has similar results as I after installing this converter, and to see if anyone has any suggestions for a fix.

Other than the issue described below, I love this FTI converter in comparison to my old Precision Industries converter. It is applying much more torque to the transmission than the PI ever did. It's a night and day difference between the two with FTI being the better of them. My only other "complaint" is the brake stall is actually around 2900. Behind my 426, I thought it would be somewhat higher. I'm not sure how they rate them, either flash stall or brake stall, but I'm guessing the advertised 3200+ is flash stall. But being a larger cube motor with higher hp/tq output than what the converter is designed for (5.7L/6.1L), I figured it would be higher for my application. Not a real big deal to me though, full weight fully loaded street car, it does me fine. Not trying for a record or anything, and I might see the track once a year for $h!ts and giggles. Anyway, onto the issue at hand.

On cold starts, allow engine to warm up to temp (180-185 degrees F), normal driving, the TCC lock up in 1st, 2nd and 3rd is very tight (for lack of a better word). I monitor my transmission pretty close. I can see Trans Temp, TCC state, and know what gear I get partial and full lock up. Even in partial lock up, I get chug chug type performance (Think driving a manual trans. and being in to high of a gear and coming to a stop). Once the transmission temp. reaches 150+ degrees, it has stock like manners, no chugging, just smooth operation and performs well. As mentioned, I can feel lots more torque being applied in comparison to my old Precision converter. I dynoed my car with the old converter on a Mustang Dyno and the torque numbers were down about 50lb/ft than what I was expecting, now I know why. HP was right about where it should be. I'll try and get back on that same dyno one day and prove my ass dyno is calibrated correctly.

I spoke with whom I purchased from and he with FTI, all they could recommend is to be certain fluid level is correct at correct temperature and use Chrysler/Mopar ATF+4 or equal...Be sure it's ATF+4. I didn't use Chrysler/Mopar fluid brand ATF+4, but I did use ATF+4, it was either Valvoline or Havoline, and was Chrysler approved on the bottle. Fluid level is correct at 63mm up the stick at 160 degree Trans Temp. This issue is only under 150 degrees trans temp, after that it clears up and performs stock like.

Could this be a valve body issue?

Thanks for reading, and any help regarding.

for thoses who are not on the 300c forums, i wanted to post here too to know your opinion:

So I grabbed my car saturday and started shopping for some rims n tire setup...wasnt sure which way to go, everyone was telling me go 22'' or go home even tho I wanted 20''...they were telling me it would look small etc. I ended sticking to my first choice and went with a concave 5 spokes dark grey mat in 20'' staggered 10.5 in the back and 9 upfront, now on the tire selection... when I went to install them they only had 285-30-20 back and 255-35-20 front, whiich would have gave me huge gab like 3/4 inch smaller from oem size, my other choice was 275-35-20 and 245-40-20, they were ok but I didn't like the rear width from the 275...I ended with 275-40-20 upfront and 315-35-20 in the back, lets say there is lots of meat lol, the rims offset were +25 in the back and +20 in the front, I had rubbing issue while being jacked from behind, but once the car down to the ground, it was fitting perfectly, I had to put small spacer in front cause aggresiv turn were making it rub a lil. Now for my though on the final result, im not totally sure if I dig it or not, I think I do, i do admit they woulda looked good in 22''...I dont like the gab in the rear but my chance of dropping went from 90% to 10% due to major width from behind, even rolling fender, the rims is like flush+1 to the fender, so Im still not sure if I will drop it, friday is window tint and blackwhite out the chromes + grill....so I should be more in position to judge the overall look of the car, what are your honest though on the setup guys?

got meat? look at my little feet down the picture lol
so what you guys think? does it look too small? and what about the drop? the rear is flush to the fender, but even rolled I think if I drop it it might hit it a thinny:(

The pallet must be picked up at a residential address and dropped at a business. I tried the online shipping estimator from Fed Ex freight and got what I thought was a high number.
Is there a cheaper option some here use for such things? Timing is not important to me, for all I care it could take 3 weeks to get here, I just don't want to pay $1000.

Thanks for any info,
