Years ago, I went to a Mopar Day at NEDW. There were 3 or 4 Hemi Darts that drove in, bolted on slicks from their trunks and ran 8's. I guess it's a Mopar thing, hehe. Go check what times Ronnie Sox ran in his Hemi powered Mopars.

I will love to see the looks on the faces of Demon owners when they can't figure out why their new cars don't run 9.65 like the flyer says it does! It's going to be priceless. You know....when ever they actually get their cars in their hands......when ever that is.

I don't understand all the hate talk against the Demon. Must be a lot of Ford / Chevy lovers recently and regretfully converted to Mopars whose heart is still with their old Mustang or Camaro. A real Mopar guy would not be dissing the Demon that way, unless maybe they are just angry that they cannot afford one.

Of course(!) Mopar did the certified run under the best conditions with a driver who had been driving and testing that car since the earliest stages of it's development. Do you really think they just brought a random journalist to the track in Denver in 100 degree heat to certify it??? And sure the car was modified for the 1/4 mile, but even though they shaved a couple of hundred pounds off it's weight, I'll bet it still weighs 500-1,000 pounds more than the other cars on that chart. And I'll bet the MSRP is a fraction of the cost of any one of them.

The only thing I don't like about the car is I probably won't get to have one parked in my garage! I love the car and I thank Ma Mopar for actually producing such a dream car.
