I just placed an order for the 225x4 6DB Reso Eliminator’s for my 2006 Daytona. My question is do you feel performance wise, that I should keep the suitcase mufflers (which I actual like the sound) or replace them? I am looking at this from a strictly performance view.

Thank you very much for your advice.

If I remember correctly they go down to 2 1/4" on the older suitcase muffler.

It appears that going to a Magnaflow muffler would be a waste since it is essentially the same style muffler correct? I was planning on replacing the factory mufflers with some Magnaflows and deleting the resonators, but after looking at that pic I think I'll just delete the resonators and call it a day.

(I know dragging up an OLD thread...) Are we also talking about the 392 bottle mufflers? Are they similar/same internally as Magnaflow?

Curious about this also - I have ARH long tubes, no cats and then Flowmaster cat back and resonance inside now that I have a cam too is rattling the interior of the car apart... I LOVE the deep RAW idle with the FM muffler though...but considering going to Magnaflow if I can just get the competition mufflers...if the stock SRT ones are the same I can cut them off my old setup and put them in place of the FM muffler and do that cheap... Otherwise I need to find a Magnaflow muffler only that will remain pretty loud and DEEP but reduce the reverb.

I was looking into the Dynomax 17554 ULTRA FLO™ WELDED X - OFFSET / OFFSET. I have a 6.1 Magnum and was thinking about replacing my suitcase with this one. I am wondering if it can handle WOT up to redline etc.... I do plan on keeping the factory resonators.

    Thanks all
