What do I need to connect the chassis harness plugs to the RER radio? They don't match up to the '05 Durango. I pulled this RER from my '09 truck that got totalled.

Funny that’s what I said you have to replace the two wire with the single wire. But it’s all good.

I don't know about the Durango, but the early LX's like my '06 had a low speed CANBus and the MYGIG RER's from the later vehicles ('08 and up, I think) used high speed buss and were not compatible.

The lockpick adapter allows you run a high or low speed mygig unit. It's a dip switch setting on the unit, also in the instructions.
I'm running a high speed rhr from a 2013 Durango in my 07 300. Only thing you have to watch for is how the radio mounts in the dash. Durango and Cherokee were different mounting.

That's good. They must have updated the adapter firmware or at least added to the instructions since I put in mine about 6 years ago.

At that time it was emphasized that you needed to have a unit that matched your car's CANBus speed. The instructions included with mine state that high speed mygig radios are not compatible.

May be important for those buying used older setups to check on this.

yes Lockpick adapter can be used on high or low speed mygig units but a low speed unit is required for lx retrofits. high speed units are not compatible.

I am running a high speed mygig in my 07 (low speed). It can be done with the lockpick adapter.

    This^^^
There's nice little dipswitch in the adapter harness that allows you to choose what speed your head unit is.

Ok, for those who don't have the EVIC you don't need to get another tuner since the mygig has it built in. All you.need is a new antenna. The am/fm antenna is separate all together and does not run off the tuner.

    Any suggestions on an antenna?
