I knew today was going to be a good day when my first pass was 11.98 @116 with a 1.9 60ft. That was way better then where i left off with last year,11.98@113 with a 1.7. Man the raised shift points really do work on the predator. My pass after that was 11.942 @ 116 with a 1.82. So i knew all i had to do was to get my 60ft down in the 1.7 and the beast would come alive. I couldnt hook up all night the track wasn't preped and my tires were bald. So the last pass of the night i stick, at least a 3 min burn out because i knew my new drags were coming in on Monday. With my luck the 60ft didnt read on my last pass of the night but from how it felt and previous slip i figured it was a 1.76. I wanna thank Josh from HHP for staying up till 3 this morning to write me my tunes . I guess all the work paid off.

What did you raise your shift points to and why do you think it helped? I only ask cause I have never messed with my shift points and wasn't sure what it would do.
Congrats on a good couple of runs.

Congrats on a good couple of runs.
With the BG it would shift around 6250 with the Predator it shifts around 6450ish and i didn't have a hesitant delay . So now I'm shifting into 4th 60ft out instead of 100ft out. But I'm still into 4th where I don't want to be. The car seems to like the Predator more, i didnt have to wait for the adaptives. my mph were very consistent all night it didn't go below 116.

sick, just sick! Great runs...man, doesnt it figure the 60' goes blank! LMAO
So HHP is tweaking tunes now too? They are the closest CMR tuner to me if they are...hadn't heard anything yet!
Kudos on the new best...:thumbs_u:

So how fast can these 6.1 really go. I've already reach my goal that i set for this year. I under estimated the predator. I think that 11.69 might just be possible.
Holy mother of god DV, congrats man!!.

With that MPH you gotta be at least 75hp over a good stocker, keep fine tuning and you'll get the numbers!

hahaha, you funny. The package he has with the tuning from HHP is worth 450 at the rears. And that's no even on 100 octane. This cam pulls like a raped ape on the top end.

Was it on pump or race gas, what Octane?
Also did you run a special race tune with the knock sensors off? (I ask cause I am going to try that this weekend on race gas).

With Pump 91 the car put out 471 RWHP with the BG . I haven't put it on the Dyno with 100 and the Predator yet. Josh from HHP sent me 2 tunes, a Street Tune and a Track Tune. I ran the Street tune and mix 3 gal of 91 with 3 gal of 100. I don't have a wideband so i can't use the track tune until i get on the dyno and check the A/F. I have the latest update on the Predator , I think that the knock sensor option has been deleted.

Hey,
How does a guy like me get some props?
No slips, no props?
JK
You make me proud to have the same setup!!!!!! Was your tune done by Rich @ BES? Josh set me up with him and I got a 100 octane tune and a 93 tune after alot of back and forth emailing to of data and adjustments.
Also did you run a special race tune with the knock sensors off? (I ask cause I am going to try that this weekend on race gas).
IMO ...I wouldn't do that ..... A lot of people got new motors doing that .... That's your safety valve.

You gotta get it to the track and lay down some numbers. Its there you just gotta put it all together . I had a tune that my guy did, Josh took that tune and did some adjustment and he also sent me a track tune that i need to put on the dyno to test it out .

Wow, nothing short of incredible. What tires are you running now?
A little tip: If you want to stay out of 4th, raise rev limiter to 6600 and click it into autostick mode once you hit third gear, that will let the computer do the shifting on the 1-2, 2-3 shifts and give you control over how long you want to stay in third.....6600 should be just enough to keep it out of 4th.

I thought about that , I just have to disable the upshift and try it. so when your in third in D and you slap it in autostick it wont automaticlly shift into 4th.

If you are over 4500 rpms in third and hit the autostick to the left the rpms are too high for a down shift so it will just stay in third allowing you to control the shift points manually from that point on.

I need to get the record straight before all the experts start going around saying that I'm turning off knock sensors, lol. I do not turn off the knock sensors. That would be the stupidest thing anyone can do. Ever. Maybe not ever. But it's up there.
Congrats Mao!
Now to see if Philly John's rebuttal brings the title back to the East Coast. Track opens in a week and a half and we've still got colder air. Gonna be a nail biter.
Gotta love the fact that our SRT-8's can run like this at full weight, lol.
