After speaking with Factory Reproductions owner today I must say I am very impressed with this company. The greif caused by BillyBones Enterprises in fact had absolutely nothing to do with Factory Reproductions.......They DIDN'T even know what happened....see here....
http://www.lxforums.com/board/showpost.php?p=1349714&postcount=134

So I apologize to Factory Reproductions for anything I may have said against them and I highly recommend these guys.If Bones had even told them of my issue it would have been dealt with immediately!

I say we start a poll to out Bones and replace them with Factory Reproductions as a vendor! Great of them to step up and do the right thing instead of what Bones did in blaming you.

It's always nice to find out when a company still knows the meaning of the words customer service. Glad things worked out for you.

Bones has done a great job increasing customer confidence lately. I think a vote on whether or not to give Bones the boot is a good idea. Actually we really don't even need to kick them off. If we just stop buying from them they'll eventually get the hint and leave on their own.

The problem w/that is some poor newbie might get suckered into purchasing from Bones

Hey guys, don't even entertain the idea of trying to boot a vendor. It ain't cool and it's not gonna happen. So don't waste your time. Conducting business in the manner they did with Erik will catch up to them without any outside manipulation.

Hate to ask, but why is booting a vendor so difficult? Be it for whatever reason, if somebody proves them to be less then trustworthy, isn' it the job of the community, and the mods in particular to keep "it" from happening again? While those in the know, understand to not deal with him, like it's been stated, newbies might not. You mention it's not "cool" to entertain the thought, but why defend someone who obviously doesn't give a damn about what it means to be a proper vendor?...regardless of it it catches up to him later or not. I rather it catch up to him while he is NOT a member of a sight I plan to be with for a while.

Not trying to incite, just my 2cents.

Not trying to incite, just my 2cents.Because he is paying for the right to be here......and until his contract is up or he decides to leave we are stuck with him.We can however show the truth about them and hopefully the lack of sales will help the bad vendors decide to leave.

FACTORY REPRODUCTIONS INC.
INSTALLATION & CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Installation
- Before mounting tires to the wheels, check brake, hub, fender and suspension clearance.

- Mounted wheels cannot be returned.

- Mount tires onto wheels only with equipment specifically designed for alloy wheels.

- Do not use equipment that will scratch, scrape or abrade the wheels. This will void the warranty.

- Wheel adaptors and spacers are not recommended. If installed, the purchaser assumes all responsibility and liability.

- Use only self adhesive tape weights when balancing. The use of clip on style weights is
not recommended as they can damage the wheel finish and void the warranty.

- Always use the correct type of lug nut.

- Always use the vehicle manufacturer's recommended torque specifications when tightening lug nuts.

- Re-torque the lug nuts after 75-100 miles of driving.

- C5-C6 Corvette - additional installation procedures Corvettes manufactured from 1997 on, except some Z06 models, are equipped with EXTENDED MOBILITY (Run Flat) tires and a LOW TIRE PRESSURE (LTP) monitoring system. If so equipped, the LTP sensor is attached to the valve stem. LTP sensors are positional and must be reinstalled to positions where they were originally located i.e. if the sensor was installed in the wheel located on the right front, it must be returned to the right front. LTP sensors are not marked as to the wheel position they must be installed at (LF, RF, LR, RR) be careful to note the original wheel position of each sensor. When dismounting tires do not break the tire down at the valve stem, damage to the LTP sensor will result. Instead rotate the valve stem 180 degrees away from the tire de-beading tool before breaking down the tire.

Care & Maintenance
- Keeping your wheels clean on a continual (weekly) basis is the best way to maintain their "like new" finish and luster.

- Never clean your wheels while they are hot.

- Water and a mild non-abrasive cleaner is the best solution for cleaning your wheels.

- A good rule of thumb to follow when selecting a cleaning solution is, if it is not safe for
the paint on your vehicle it is probably not safe for your wheels.

- Applying a coat of non-abrasive carnauba based auto wax after cleaning is all the protection your wheels should need.

These installation and care instructions must be given to the retail purchaser
