Has anyone ran some 17x10.5 with a 27mm offset? Just checking before i spend the money and run into a problem.

Man where did you find them that wide with our bolt pattern. I think as long as there is 6 inches backspace you are good

so any luck with the wheels?? If so what wheels are they and what size tire you runinng?

No luck too much back spacing on those wheels our car can't take no more than 6'' with 26mm offset. Those wheels almost has a 7'' . I'm gonna just run the stock cobra r with with the 315/35r17 BFG's it bows out a little bit. I wouldn't use that setup to autocross or any thing , but we'll see if it makes a difference at the drag strip.

No i need to find a set up for the track. So that set up clears with no rubbing?

If you put them on a 9 inch rim you may end up with less tire on the ground then with a 275. The too narrow of a rim pulls the sides up and you end up with less rubber on the ground

American Racing makes a 17"x9" wheel called the razor in our bolt pattern. I just got back from the wheel shop with them all mounted up to my 275/50 M&H's. They have a 6" backspacing and clear the brakes and sway bars just fine. Cost was 169$ per wheel.
