Well, after new struts, strut arms, strut bumpers, control arms, strut mounts, insulators, sway bar bushings and more suspension parts that I can remember, plus 3 visits to the dealer, my front end clunk is finally gone. As it turns out, it was the struts all along because that's the last thing they replaced. So I have an 06 with an 08 front end.

mullens,
Wow! That was a lot of parts to change out. Sorry you had to go through that although I believe your post will help others who have issues with the same clunk.
Hope to run into you again this year at SF.

It was an 08' part #?Does the car handle and feel the same?Is the suspension as tight or does it feel mushy now?

Congrats! I got my clunk fixed too. It's like finding a needle in a haystack. Kudos to your service dept. for working with you until the problem was resolved. Some people haven't been as fortunate.

Switching to KW V2s got rid of my clunk. Again, replacing the 06 Bilsteins. A few of us have been bitching to the SRT Engineers for months to execute a TSB to replace the front struts. Eventually, they admitted that was indeed the problem, but that a wholesale replacement would not be offerred. Glad you got fixed.

I'm not totally sure I have an 08 part. I ran the strut in the Mopar database, and this is what it said:
Front suspension - Struts and components - Strut - W/high performance suspension
Code zej Right - W/o awd 2007
It feels like new. The suspension is very tight, although I haven't really pushed it. I've had the clunk so long I almost forget what it's like to not have it. And, it was all done under warranty with 19,500 miles.

I have KW V2's and I have a weird clunking noise in the rear that I can't seem to figure out. It seems like everytime I hit any little think in the road, I get a weird noise that almost sounds like it's coming from my trunk but I still hear it when I take everything out. I am confused. :\

Yes they are yellow, so it must be a Bilstien.

It's the lower bushing mount on the rear damper. The hole that the bushing goes into is loose around the bushing, thusly sliding fore and aft and hitting your lower control arm, makign the sound come up through the rear.
Pull a rear wheel on the side you think is worse, remove the bottom bolt, then the 2 top bolts of the damper and pull it out. If the bushing falls out in your hand, or can come out with a little finger pressure, that's your culprit.
Call Tom Edge @ KW
They'll send you new rear bushings to be pressed in.

I had the same clink about a year ago. Took it to Erik at Moore & he put his best tech on my RT after I told him what I think it was. He found the problem right away with my description. Fixed it & I was the way with no more problem.
