I just couldn't resist, so I got the 275/40/20 (front) and 315/35/20 (rear) set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas. I ordered a set of 25mm spacers from H&R so the rear's would clear.

Here's the slide show (click):

I'm liking those 315's on the rear. So far, no rub, even with a 40 mph right turn on the exit out of my development (no squeal, either, just grip).

Unfortunately, they still will break loose completely on a brisk launch, only now it takes about 1/3 throttle instead of the previous 1/4 throttle.

Yep, the sun was not cooperating this pm for a shadow-free shot of the rears. I'll try again tomorrow.

DrBeat hooked me up with Fairmont Tire and Rubber in LA for the set. Unbelievable price. I think Vredestein is trying to buy market share away from Michelin and Pirelli in the US, because these tires ought to be about $350 per, but they are half of that. The 25mm spacers from H&R ran about $150 for the pair (nicely engineered from excellent materials). They are a must if you want the 315's on the rear--or go with a 25mm offset wheel--mine are 10x20 on the rear, but they had no offset, hence the spacers.

The wheels are ASA's in gunmetal available at the Tire Rack. 9x20 fronts and 10x20's rear. Bargain priced.

Fairmont's: 323-750-2840. Nice bunch of guys.

This is a partial hijack.

I cannot see the pictures that I assume were posted. This is not the only thread that I am missing out on. Is there some setting that I need to change on my computer? I am on my home computer. I am running Windows XP, Mozilla Firefox and have ZoneAlarm Security Suite which has firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware etc. I am never sure what settings I need and how all of this security stuff works, anyway.

Please help, because I want to see! Thanks.

So these would mount on the stock SRT wheels with no issues?

The 275's would fit stock srt8 rims, but not the 315's.

Thanks, all. I have had some minor rub on the rears, but only above 120 mph on bumpy dirt roads.

Do you have a link to the spacers used? I'm going to need those when I get my rear wheels widened I believe.

Nope, just trying to build an undeserved reputation. :racing:
