I have the opportunity to buy an (almost) brand new set of take-offs for $2000. They have the RS-A's. Is this a good deal? I know I've seen them on here for cheaper, but these are almost brand new.

from what i've seen, that's about $500 to $700 too high.

You can purchase Prototype or Faux SRT's online for $900 they are the Same rim but don't have the emblem on them. This is just an option if you want to purchase New ones at 1/2 the cost.

Are they made of the same material, though? I have been considering the reproductions, but I don't really like the chromed look. Won't it rust?

The reproductions are chrome plated aluminum. If you don't take care of them they will pit an rust.

Aluminum doesn't rust. And from what I understand, the factory SRT wheels are forged aluminum while most of the reproduction wheels are cast (i.e. heavier).
PM sent, wbglider.

Yea pretty much what Moonstreaker said. Personally i'd have them powder coated and you'll still have new rims for cut the cost of those you are speaking about. But that's IMO

I got a set of polished SRT wheels from a member here with RSA's on 2 and F1's on 2 (staggered wheels) for $600 less than that, and they have under 1000 miles on them and were polished...
way too high IMO...

wbglider,
Are you SRT wheels off of a 300 or a Magnum/Charger? I'm only interested in Magnum or Charger SRT wheels. Thanks!
