Ryan, I'm gonna sit you down one of these days, and you're going to talk to me about exposure... That's all there is to it.
Outstanding pics!

Thanks guy, I'll try and give you all a run down. I shoot with a Canon 5D with a 24-105 F4 L IS lens. Most of these shots were taken somewhere between f18-f22 (shooting at small aperture creates that star effect on the light without using a filter), shutter speeds from 2.0 seconds to 15.0 seconds at 400 ISO, using a 550EX flash unit with an omni-bounce at 45 degrees. The omni-bounce is a flash diffuser that helps dissipate light evenly over the subject and feathering the flash to a 45 degree angle helps even more to achieve this. I left the white balance on AWB (auto) and then corrected for shadow color levels and stuff (caused by all those nasty street lights) by split toning (hue/saturation). The flash helps fill in some of those reflections from all those street lamps but they are still TERRIBLE for lens flare. Even with a lens hood and being really careful its hard to avoid. I hope that helps, thanks for the kind words. I had a blast at the meet chatting with everyone.
