My friend just got a 300C SRT8 and is looking to get a set of 18s for winter, along with some snow/all-season tires. I tried a search, but couldn't find a consensus on weather the factory 18" 300C / RT wheels will clear the front Brembos. If not, what are some aftermarket options that aren't too spendy? (I saw that someone had some ASA AR1s in 18" that might work, but the cheaper the better. :)). He doesn't have the space for a winter beater, so don't even mention it. :)

As far as I have been told, 18's will only fit on the rear. 20" is the minimum for the fronts because of the size of the brake rotors.

Previous poster is correct--the factory 18's will only fit the rear. They will clear the front with a spacer (I don't know where you get the spacer) and longer lugs. Tirerack.com also sells 18" (and 19") tire/wheel packages that they say fit the SRT8. I plan to go that route for next winter.

A few folks who have 5.7-based vehicles have done the SRT Brembo swapout including the steering knuckles and upper control arms in front. Of those, I know of one firsthand (Meister), who has 18" Borbets front and rear. That leads me to believe that the Borbets would fit on the SRT's as well. Just a guess, but a fairly reasoned one...
