I have been seeing quite a few Eibach lowered car owners stating the the springs have settled more than the 1.3" that is advertised.

What I am wondering if the MOPAR's settle more than the 1". I am just looking for a lil drop, I have problems with scraping as is.

Thanks ya'll in advance.

I had the MP highrates in my Neon, and they were quoted a 1in drop, but they were closer to 1.3-1.5. Someone in the club I was in had the Eibach prokits in their Neon and mine actually sat lower, and their kit was rated at 1.3.

I would love to go that route again with my Mag, but I am worried that the struts won't take even that little a drop.

Thats why I started this thread. An inch or even to 1.3" shouldnt be a problem, may bottom out a lil sooner. Atleast its a MOPAR product and should be a lil fire back if the shocks go dead quick. I have 42K on the Maggie and probably have a fight on my hands.

Curious about this one myself. Also wonder how the ride quality is. (Promised the wife I wouldn't lower it  so it has to be close to stock).

If scraping it is a concern, don't lower it. ;)

If you don't drag something once in a while, it isn't low enough!

What size 20s are those. I wonder if they are the same diameter as stock or a lil bigger.

Yes you can get them from the dealer. You can check with one of the vendors we have on the forum to get best price.

My good friend works at the dealership here and can get me pretty nice deals on stuff through there...I asked him about the springs and he said he didnt know of any available for the Mag...

There are specific Mopar springs for the Magnum. They have a slightly higher spring rate for the rear I believe due to the weight difference from a 300C. Make sure they get the correct ones or else the rear will be lower than the front.
My rims are 20x10 rear with 275 tires and the fronts are 20x9 with 245's

Mopar springs part# for magnum is 5153327.

Is that for a RT or will they work on all Magnums?

I actually saw them in a book at the dealer a couple of days ago, they were listed for the R/T. But the Eibachs have the same part numbers for both. So I would think that they would fit also. If I rememeber correctly, I heard around here that they are made by Eibach.

Well I just picked up my Mopar springs from the dealer *crossing fingers* hopefully this will be enough of a drop.

Oh man, I just tossed my mopar springs out. I didn't think anyone would want them.
They did lower my magnum an inch all the way around. I'm running Eibach sportlines now.

I would guess on which trim level they are on since the difference of the 2.7, 3.5 & 5.7L engines.

and heres after a month or so on the mopar springs (different rims, but same size tires):

I got closer to an inch drop.........drove them for well over 10,000 miles with no problems and there was no apparent sagging

i am running 22" and want sportlines. i measured this morning and i think i have a few milimeters over 2 inches between my fender and tire in front.

did you really get 2 inchess drop on the springs? what size tire and wheels are you running? i dont want to get them and then hav fitment issues

If you're looking for a 1" drop, you might want to try buying a set of SRT8 springs. I didn't take any before/after pics with my Magnum but I got around 3/4" to 1" drop. Also, you can get the matching SRT8 shocks/struts which will give you a good ride. Here's an "after" pic of my Magnum.

I took the Mopar lowering springs off and put the sportlines on before I joined these forums, otherwise I would've given them away.
