Kids and Carseats

I'm about to be buying a Magnum and what wondering how much space there really is in the back seat with two carseats and if a third might fit. Anyone have any experience with this? Any pics?

No pics but I have two car seats in the back of the mag and the wife fits as well!!!

Before you ask she prefers to sit back there with the kids and that is just fine with me LOL!!

I'm 6'5-6'6 and have the carseat and there's plenty of room.

We have one car seat in the middle for our son and we sometimes have a second for our niece and there is plenty of room. I am sure a third would fit just fine. Now they would be close together but they would fit. The whole reason we ever bought the magnum was because there was plenty of room for the car seats.

we have a rear facing infant carrier in the center, and a front facing carseat for our 2 year old..fit just fine on the "60" portion of the rear seat. not only that, but you could fold down the "40" portion of the "60/40" rear seat and have more storage for long items.

im sure 3 carseats will fit just fine.

I have a booster in the middle and can easily fit an adult on each side.

When you go to look at one, take the car seats out of your car and test fit them in it. You'll be able to judge for yourself if you have enough room and how it'll be. Since it'll be a family car, take the family and go for a test drive. :thumbs_u:

We had a booster seat, infant carrier with base and a Britax Marathon across our back seat. They fit but it was tight getting the seatbelt to click with the booster seat. Our problem was that the trunk was not big enough to store all the stuff we needed to bring with three kids. That is why I bought a caravan.

There's lots of room back there for car seats. I have one behind the driver's side.

Did I not get a memo or something? Why are their so many of y'all with the car seat in the middle?? I thought that was a no no and the least safest spot besides the front seat.

LX cars have the LATCH system for 3 carseats, so i see no problem putting one in the middle...i think i read about it in the owners manual.
