Actually, just one wheel, but that's a moot point.

Anyway, when I traded in my 06 for my 08 I had my rims transferred. Someone at the dealership thought it would be nice to clean my tires with armor-all...except they just sprayed it all over the tire and rim. By the time I noticed it later on that day, the Armor all had dried off and now I have this 'film' of Armor All that won't come off whenever I try to wash it. It's almost like paint at this point.

Is there something I can use to make it come off and not damage the rim? It's not chrome - I have Torq Thrusts with antracite spokes and aluminum lip.

I've used dishwashing soap a couple of times for mine. If you do this, just be careful not to get any of that on your paint since it will strip wax.

You should be able to get it off with a little dish washing liquid and a soft brush. I usually wax my wheels... armor all usually comes off with some soap

Thanks...I'll give that a shot (if it ever stops raining around here). I've only tried car wash soap at this point, so maybe that's why i haven't been able to get it off.

What they said but more specifically use Dawn.
