Hey guys me a fellow member "Fahad R/t" just received our r1 concepts rotors.. (although shipping company still hasnt delivered the last box with 1 set of rears and pads tho)
I have an urgent question tho...
How do i tell apart the rotors, Fahad has the R/T and i have a road and track..
now obviously we have 2 rear rotors and 4 front rotors.. (sizes are a dead give away lol) now the two fronts are different in terms of design but their is no labelling on the boxes! so i cant tell which is which..
all i know is that one set of fronts has engravings on it, while the other doesnt.. (the rear set which we received also has the engraving)

Any help would be greratly appreciated!

i'm sure that the instructions are prolly in the last box but thats a week away from arriving!

Ps. i'll post pics to show what i mean..

Btw.. just want to say thanks to Steven at R1 Concepts.. we're extremley happy with the way they turned out and cant wait to get them on our cars.. top notch service and super fast shipping (too bad we got screwed by our shipping company lol).. i'd recommend Steven based on his service alone let alone the product quality :).

Hi guys,
From what we can tell the R/T and R/T with road and track have the same rotors just different pads, and from the looks of things i received a wrong set of rear rotors..

the fronts will measure 13.6" diameter
http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff88/Ahmed_Janahi/IMG_3585-web.jpg

the rears 12.6" diameter
http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff88/Ahmed_Janahi/IMG_3581-web.jpg

i received one set of rears which were 13.8" diameter!, this is SRT-8 spec. (note it has only 6 drill between the slots.. others have 8)

this is being taken care of by Steven for whom i'm very greatful :).

We e-mailed Steven at R1 and told him we had recieved the wrong rotors, he quickly fixed the problem by sending out another set of rears...

By far the best Customer Service I have ever experienced and will come back for more...

Some companies such as napa and a few others are listing the 13.8 (13.78) inch rotor as a R/T rotor. Part of the confusion is there is no listing for road and track, just heavyduty/police package that most people think is with the road and track. From what I can tell the road and track has 12.6 inch rear rotors which kinda sux but oh well what can ya do. I'm not 100% but it sure looks this way.

wow cant beleive its been more than a year since we installed the rotors...

Thanks to Steven from R1 for all his help on resolving our issue..

and going on the above post.. this is to confirm that the rotors for the regular R/T and road and track packages are exactly the same. this was proven physically by what happened to me and Fahad.

the only difference i can gather is prolly due to different pad material.

I went with blanks and love them. Most people I talk to say to stay away from the drilled ones.

what or who is blanks???

sorry if it sounds weird, just not understanding if thats the company or if you mean blank/plain rotors without slots and/or drilled
