Yep Chuck is our contact with the Phoenix Police department for yourclubs.net. From my understanding he is the head of the "anti street racing" unit. But yeah, thats an LS6 powered squad car that runs 12s.

Looked like a great time. Makes me jealous when we're in single digit highs and below zero overnite lows here.

11.85, which was the 2nd quickest LX pass of the day, as far as I know. The 426 SC car is owned by Leon right here in Chandler, who had never been down a stirp before. They only did a couple of shakedown runs with a best of 11.77. My car is still with the stock block, not the 426. Didn't take out seats, nothing,, case of water in the trunk, full tank of gas, and over a 100 lbs of ballast on me. Was having computer issues again. Morning full pass would have been quicker.
That's my son Wes behing me with his 2007 Colbalt SS Stage II, which is untuned. Was running 13.7's.

Hey Jay, that was me in that ridiculous photo. It was real nice meeting you and seeing everyone from before (Desert Rumble I). I was able to squeak out an 11.98 time. It was also great to see Scott from GSM!
I'd like to say thanks to all that put this together. I know how much work and stress this causes. You guys and gals did an outstanding job, THANK YOU!!! I will never miss one of these.
Probably the best thing that happened all day to me was not the 11 second time slip, but seeing Chris Butler and getting to know him a little better. We, for stupid reasons, never saw eye-to-eye sitting behind a keyboard blasting one another. But I'd say the hatchet has been buried for good.
By the way, I give CB the award for most runs. He was tearing that track up! I'd say he got over 30 runs! Normally that award would go to DanRealtor.
So again, CB you are a cool cat for coming up to me and making it all good. And it was so cool to see and meet everyone else. I only wish we could do this in AZ more often.:friday:
Moose.

Very Nice Pics! Glad you guys had fun.
Great job on the photo's bud!!. :thumbs_u:
I just wanted to post one photo of my dual TB intake set-up. This is how she showed up to the event and ran until around noon and then I decided to determine if my other set-up worked better. I noticed that most everyone saw my hacked up, wacked out CAI system and walked away shaking their heads. It was embarrassing.
So just for my own self indulgence.

Hey Cam, I didnt get a chance to look at your CAI but why not go for a real short ram panel filter style (Corvette/Viper). I got one shot of your car, sorry its not a better one.

OK, that explains it - I forgot to bring it up with all that was going on, but I couldn't figure out why what I was looking at on Saturday afternoon didn't jibe with what I expected to be looking at... all's clear.
Wish I had thought of it during any of the opportunities I had to see the other one in person. Fack.
