We can do a 6 speed in our cars also.
We just have to loose the car's computer system.
Notice that they show a Motec engine management system. That handles the engine running. Engine no longer cares if the rear speed is differnet than the front or if the radio is on too high for the windshield wiper speed or any other of the stupid things that is programmed into our ECU.
The engine is separate from the transmission functions which is separate from the rear differential functions.

Makes sense i knew that there was a 6 speed kit out, just knew it didnt work well. I guess if you dont mind losing most of your car's features that it has, a 6 speed with nice gears is possible.
