If your car was built on or after 10/01/2007 it seems Chrysler is cheaping out and only putting on one hood prop. They sure love to penny pinch!!!:doh:
SERVICE REPAIR TIPS
PLEASE PROVIDE A COPY OF THIS SHEET TO THE SERVICING TECHNICIAN PRIOR TO ORDERING THIS PART, THE FOLLOWING MUST BE VERIFIED:Effective 10/01/2007, the Chrysler 300 does not require two hood gas props. If the customer complaint is that one is missing, it is not and no repair should be attempted. The vehicle is built correctly. This applies only to the Chrysler 300 models, not to the Charger, Magnum or any SRT-8 models.
