The Signature Series: Does anyone know how many were made?

Wood Dash Kits: I'd really like to see some pics of these kits. All of the ones on Ebay and Sounddomain are just poor photos that don't SHOW the kits that well. Does anyone have pics of theirs? I'm curious as to what it will look like with the dark dash. It looks great on my M which had the light interior, but I never did like the deep slate interior with wood dash kits so I'm skeptical. Even more specific....does anyone have a wood dash in their Signature Series?? Even with the partly light graystone seats I'm still not sure how I'd like it.

Bolt Pattern: Are the 300's 5x114.3, or 5 x115? I've heard both. If they are 5x114.3, I would love to put the rims that are currently on my M on my 300, however, the M being FWD, and the 300 being RWD would pose some sort of problem, right? Or is it just the offset making it impossible? The offset on the M wheels I think are 38mm...something like that.

DVD-Based Navigation: I'm sure this has been brought up so forgive me, but.... This is a DVD-Based Navigation system, and DC is set on it only playing the navigation disc they provide? C'mon....someone knows how to mod these. It has to be some proprietery laser set to only read a specific code on the navigation disc. What if we replaced the laser? Or is it more-so the software than hardware? I know people have done it in the old RB1's and RB4's (or one or the other).

I can't really answer your questions that well. But for the dash kits, search for it and you may find threads regarding them with people showing theirs. I know over at 300cforums.com they do have a thread where people have posted their dash kits. Look pretty nice. Dont look for people with kits in sig series. There are barely any sig series owners who post here or at 300cforums or even allpar.

As for the DVD nav. They probably didn't want a DVD player because I believe its illegal in many states (if not all) for the driver to be watching a movie. And it was probably so that they can avoid any lawsuits FROM pure idiots who would say they didn't know that they shouldn't drive and watch movies :|

The main reason I posted was I wanted to ask you a question. How is the performance of your car? Especially at higher speeds. On the highway, I drive between 70-90MPH. If the acceleration still strong at those speeds or is it weak where it takes it some time to go up in speed. And how fast have you gotten the car (if you've drive it fast)?

Thanks.

P.S. If you get some free time, could you please take some more pictures of your car, interior more? Thanks.

My RT AWD is totally awesome FROM 60 to 100, you have to pay attention when you hit it or you will be above 90 in just seconds.

6? Why, the Hemi only suffers the mpg by 1 on the highway! I ran mine on the speed limiter for 30 miles. At 70 I was able to stuff a Wrx. The only time he left was when I hit the 125 wall!! Spend the extra for the RT. The trade in value should be through the roof compared to like mileage on a 6. Of course, my opinion and yes everyone has one!

Thanks for your opinion. And I actually would love to get the V8, bit I cannot afford it. I just cannot go over 30k. And I do not want to get a base Magnum or 300.

Maybe when the time comes for the next car, i'll get the HEMI? ;)

The 3.5 is pretty quick. The nearest interstate FROM me is 1 hour, so I don't make it there too often. I've been on it once since I bought my 300, and it's pretty fun to drive on it. I can't compare it to a Hemi because I didn't test drive one....mainly because I knew I'd want one then. I didn't want to spend another $8,000 once I added the luxury features my Signature has. The least expensive 300 with navigation and mooonroof and some other features my Signature has is $34,425 in a Limited model. The Signatures is $4,000 less, so Taha if you can find one they are an awesome buy. It's a lot of car for $30,000 and well worth it.

Thats exactly my feelings. I love technology so I want the nav, sat radio, 6 disc, etc.. but if I put that stuff on the 300C, the price skyrockets. And then I can't refuse the temptation to get HIDs and other things.
