Anyone online with Access to DealerConnect? Can you track a car in transit even if it is not ordered by your dealership? If you can and are willing, let me know. I'll PM you my VIN.

Thanks,
Keith

Thanks GasGunR...

As you can tell...the wait is killing me... :) And, I do know that my wait has been relatively short compared to some.

We are trying to be patient, but it is eating away at us.

I called my dealer this am. The Sales Manager is out of town. His "sit in" was basically no help. Said they wouldn't know until it showed up. I asked him about tracking it with DealerConnect and he basically ignored my question.

So, if any of you guys can come through I'd appreciate it. And then, I'll rub it in their face at the end of the deal...that I got info on my order from another dealer.

Thanks,
Keith

Yeah, us tech's don't get that privledge... unless you're good friend with your dealer's office manager or whoever handles the IT stuff. I just had the office manager at my Chrysler dealer activate sales codes, color popularity reports, part inquiries, and the parts repair tips. The person handling the IT stuff at my old Dodge dealer was primarily my a------ Sevice Director, which wouldn't make any changes.

I don't think DealerConnect can track after build as well as it used to...

dodgeman699 tried for me and was unsuccessful...but kudos to him for trying.

I'm sure they can still track orders at the plant for status, but from the time it moves to storage / shipping is where the weak point seems to be. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Yes...I believe that is true...I think they can see the build status through the manufacturing stages. But, after it has "shipped", it appears to have become more difficult.

Thanks for your help GasGunR.

It was helpful...

My wife and I are just impatient...

The first step to recovery is admittance, correct?
