Anybody have a problem with their radio not working (on but no sound this morning for about 30 sec). I think it was on fm mode at the time. I have Sirius and am aware of the possibility of downloads temporary disabling it, but as I said, I think it was on fm. I kept turning the volume up and downand pushing the am/fm button but no sound came out until I pressed the mode button for satellite. My wife said one day 3 months ago that the radio did not work for several minutes, but I have no idea what she was doing to try to make it work. Also at the same time this morning, my automatic seat/steering wheel return to the previous position did not acitivate. It did work after I got to the store and got out and back in. I haven't gotten around yet to setting the permanent seat/etc. memory yet.

this morning my stereo did the same....it was on ---no sound no matter what I did---all I could get for a volume reading was 0 or 1...I shut the car off and restarted--still nothing---it worked again after I parked the car and the radio went off when i opened the door....when I came back out to the car 20mins later---it worked fine again
I've had that problem a couple times but it goes away after a while or a restart fixes it...

I'd never had this problem before, but it did it twice recently. A few days ago, it only lasted for a few seconds and went back to normal. Yesterday morning, it was really weird, there was no sound, and while playing with the volume (knob or steering wheel control), it would go down, but not come back up. I turned the radio off and back on and it was fine again. Both times, I had turned it off while tuned in to Sirius, and it was on FM when turned on.
I've got the RAK radio with Sirius. No UConnect, no NAV. (I know that people have mentioned before that if they are on a UConnect phone call when they turn the engine off that the radio will still be in "mute" mode when they start up.)

Ditto, yesterday.
The audio, I mean. (Not the stoned thang. )
Methinks a protection circuit of some sort is being told to kick in -- in the amp, mebbe, since it's blocking the signal to the speakers (at least) and telling the preamp not to allow the volume to be increased.
Just a WAG, of course. What do our resident audiophiles think?

There is a TSB that relates to this problem. Apparently, the problem is with some early production amps.
On the other hand, I had the problem several times and the dealer checked my amp and I have the new one. I'm hoping that my UPDATE to ver. 3.61 will take care of this gremlin.

Probably not -- my RT's running v3.61.

The service manager said the dealership owner experienced similar problems as well but had no solution. I don't think it's an older amp or software issue as I got my car in September, but I need to CHECK my build date and version. Also, I do not have uconnect or bluetooth, although I did kick ol' greenteeth right in the knee then hauled ass outta there in my new HEMI :D
