This is a photo of my first 300 a 1966 beauty. I wish I still had it and the one I traded it for a 1970 Challenger.

My dad had a 63 that was a very cool car, and I had a couple opportunites to buy the car from its subsequent owners after he got rid of it. I wish I had done it now, but just didnt have the $.

Of course, I'd really love to have a '61 300 G. What a car!

It was a nice car it had 383 4 barrel carb and got 8 miles to the gallon. It also had the counsel three speed auto with a big vacuum gage on it. Bucket seats with 6 way power the inside had a lot more class then the new 300.

I had the 66 Monaco with the same power train. They loved me at the gas pump. LOL

My 1st was a 61 300G convertible in 1969. White with red leather. Swivel buckets.

413 with dual 4bbl's on the long intake rams?

That was a cool setup. I know a lot of people ditched em for single 4bbl's cause they were a pain to set up and keep tuned, but still, neat stuff.

That would be correct. Here's the sad part. I took the whole drivetrain out and put it in a 55 Chevy Belaire 2 Dr hardtop. Salmon and gray it was.

Took the motor out to 426, Isky 310 cam, B&M Torqueflite and 2800 stall converter, 4.56's, 2 780 Dual feed Holley's with velocity stacks, etc.

It all bolted in like it was made for it.

Young and dumb. Was only 21 at the time.

Junked the 300, only paid $150 for it.

All of the early 300s were great road cars!
