The fronts come factory with 245/45/20 and the rear 255/45/20. I was going to replace the front tires with the 255's, so I can rotate all four tires. My friend who works at a Lexus dealership said I shouldn't do that because the car is engineered to perform best with the original tire sizes.

Should I play it safe and keep everything the same size or it's not that big a deal?

Thanks!

Your friend is wrong. I have the SRT suspention and Hotchkiss sway bars with 255/55/ 18's and it sticks to the road like a go kart. My concern would be, if you go to a bigger diameter tire than stock, it may rub on the steering knuckle, mine only leave 1/4" or less clearance. Jack her up and try the fit of the rears on front, I think you will have rubbing issues.

255's all around are no problem, especially on the SRT's. It is less than a third of an inch taller overall than the 245's, which is a nit. Toyo Proxes 4 come in 255's, and seem to be well liked. Good luck.
