Need help finding longer wheel studs

Ok, well bought some used wheels and they look great except for the rub on the spindle when I back up only, so I'm thinking about getting a set of spacers to fix that, but I know that it will shorten the amount of thread that the lug nuts can use so I'm looking at getting some longer wheel studs to fix that problem when I add the wheel spacers. So I tried looking online but didn't have any luck.

So I turn to my LX brothers & sisters for help if anyone can give me a link or know wherer I can find some longer wheel studs I think that about a 1/2 inch longer would work. Also if some knows how long our current studs are would help too. The wheels are 22x9.5 all around and for a 05 mag rt

Please any help would be very much apreciated please please I need some help thanks.

I used the following to accomodate 0.5" hubcentirc spacers I machined:

AutoValue: 252-4111
NAPA: 212-4633
PartSource: 319-2340


To accomodate 0.75" hubcentirc spacers I used wheelstuds meant for a 3-ton GMC:

Thanks for the help, so will the lug nuts fit these gmc wheel studs? Also I not fimilliar with metric measurements, so how long would these be. I measured the stock studs and they are about 1 1/4 inch long and I am looking at probally getting .5 inch wheel spacers so I would need studs that were about 1.75 inches long would these that you supplied work, and you mentioned something about the rear studs are they different or are they the same. M14 x 1.5mm is the OEM stud diameter and thread-count, so yes, the OEM lugnuts will engage these wheel studs. Just as important, the serrated shoulder area engages the LX hub I.D. (Inside Diameter) without issue. You will need access to a hydraulic press to remove and install wheel studs. The longer of the two studs I mentioned will have to the the guide pin removed, and the (inner) heads altered to fit around the circumference of the LX hub centers. However it appears you require the shorter version, which require no modifications.

As far as making you some spacers, you do not require what "I" required to make the SLR rims fit my platform. Any speedshop will have what you need. And another thing...you do not require the hubcentric aspect in order to ensure proper fit. All bets are off though if you are employing wheels with anything OTHER than the OEM 115mm (on center) bolt pattern.

So if I go to my local napa and give them the pn that you provided it will be long enough for me to clear a .5 in wheel spacer, and I don't need to do any other modification, just take the old wheel studs off and install new longer ones? These will work for front and rear correct? I tried looking on the napa website but there isn't a place for me to search by pn, so I wasn't able to see how much these were, do you know how much they are thanks so much for ur help...you don't know how much this helps.

They should; I am in Canada - one would hope PN's are consistant across the border. No other mods are required other than removal/replacement front and/or rear. If I recall correctly I paid $1.66ea

Yes, the smaller of the two spacers I suggested are used on the rear of my Magnum with a 0.5" spacer and have seen rigorous duty on and off the track. Use a press :)

Ok, well I went to NAPA today with the part number but they told me that the part number wasn't in there system, so I looking for some more help. If anyone knows where online that I can buy wheel studs for my 05 magnum rt that are half and inch longer then stock, and if someone can also tell me how long stock wheels are to would help. thanks.

I dug out the original invoice from NAPA Auto Parts, the studs I used are supplied to NAPA by a company called Balkamp. The PN is: 641-4251. I paid 2.99CAN/ea.

I believe a cross reference for the same part produced by Wagner is: 125961

Apologies for the other PN's I gave you, I'm not sure what those are now! I pulled them from the original paperwork during my investigation/search.
