This is the hardest choice I've come to make on the mag and I can't seem to make a decision. I love the GSM wheels but the cost and 3 week wait time to make them is making me wonder if there is something else out there for my tastes. I looked at TSW wheels in the past but I not sure about their quality or how much heavier they are over stock. I have a preference towards mesh 3 piece mesh wheels but the problem is price and finding a pair that looks good on Maggie. Would like to keep it under 4k if possible.

I used to have Montage 20's and then 22's. I loved them but I am more of a 5 spoke guy.
If it were'nt for Foose Nitrous I would still have them. And if I had known about the Nitrous II rims before that I would have gotten those instead of the Nitrous'.

I'm digging the Jarmas. I think they have a more aggressive and sporty look.

If you went with the snetterton they resemble the GS wheels and are probably half the cost. Not sure though. But I do understand your logic as I would love to have a set of GS wheels for my car too. Just too pricey at this time... Far as TSW wheels you might want to PM surfCity as he has a pair of TSW's on his maggie and get his opinion.. Good Luck,

Jay

I will have to say that TSW makes some sweet rims..I voted for the snetterton, but I like them all!

www.DiscountTireDirect.com (http://www.DiscountTireDirect.com) does not list these yet..Nor does the TSW website show any in inventory after checking the wheel of choice. Where can we get a price on these from?

Magnums look good with both the 5 spoke, and multi-spoke ones. I like ones with a lip, and a clean (not busy) look. I personally like the 1st option you have.

The TSW only come in 5x114.3, and not 5x115. I spoke with TSW today. Now I have no concerns of running that bolt pattern, because it will fit just fine, and TSW agrees. If you ask DiscountTire though, they will not sell it to you, since it is not a 5x115.

FYI....Also the newer TSW's will not be available until Jan '08. The Jamara is $410.00 each in a 22x9.5" in Hyper Silver. I am liking this rim, and might start the new year off with a set of these to refresh the Mag.

YOU cant buy any of these rims in our bolt pattern. I have been doing alot of research and I cant find them anywhere...so good luck finding them...

Another thing...I HATE 5x115 bolt pattern, man all the good rims, come out in a 5x114.3, why couldnt DCX make it so we have have alot of wheels choices, it pisses me off.

5x114.3 will work just fine. The offset is correct for our cars which is what really matters. TSW verified this, and I have run them before on other cars that called for a 5 x 115. They even mention the 300c when talking about the rims on their website.

I have plans to get the Jarama. Will keep those of you posted on the fitment.

I know for a fact that Surfcity has them on his ride. They are black with the polished lip. He had them on at SEMA.....

after what seems to be a never ending quest for a set of wheels I really like I have finaly settled on the one and only wheel i truely like that will fit on the car(that 5x115 bolt pattern really sucks). GSM says it may take about 4 weeks so when they come i'll post pics.

I may have to delay the install of my cam alittle

No way would I ever run wheels if the bolt pattern didn't match... back in the day when the new GM fwd cars came out, they were also 5-115... and also we were told by numerous wheel co's that the 5-114.3 would fit no problem... well after the 4th set we bought back due to vibration problems and the one we bought a new front end for 'cause the wheel fell off, we decided never to do that again... That 7/10th of a millimeter doesn't sound like much, but it keeps the wheel form centering correctly on the hub...and can keep the lugnuts from being properly torqued, which can cause a wheel to come off. I've also heard that it splayes the wheel studs and can cause brake rotor warpage... no thanks....

I could have got them at a better price than that and had them tapped to the correct bolt pattern for $100 extra. I ran the Montage for 4 months of hard drivin with no problem.

I did it on my Malibu with no problems at all which was 5 x 115. I used hub cenntric rings which all wheels come with now. It is a common thing done, and I have heard of very few issues.
