View Full Version : Suspension improvement?

I want to improve the suspension on my '06 Magnum R/T, retaining the OEM wheels, and ride quality.

I have bid and won on ebay a set of reputedly low mileage SRT8 struts and springs for $380.00+ shipping which I thoght was a good price over what new ones cost. Hopefully they will work well on my R/T.

I would like Hotchkis anti-sway bars, but I have read on various forums the DCX Police Package units are almost as beefy and would be 100.00 less than the Hotchkis units.
I also would like the Pedders bushing replacement, though pricing has yet to be determined, plus install cost.

Any thoughts?

Love the Hotchkis and have no knowledge of the Police Pkg.

Pricing should be very soon, withing a week or two. Availability should be shortly thereafter. Prior to x-mas.

SRTstruts are a great mod, even if you retain your RT springs, and combined with the Hotchkis sways it will transform your car into a great handeling hot rod! Doing those 2 mods will show you how good or bad your tires are.

The police package sways are the same as the RT/SRT sways IIRC. Hotchkis are something like 150% stiffer in the rear and 35% stiffer in the front (don't quote me on that, they publish it on their website). I can tell you that the sways made a night-and-day difference on both my RT and SRT... You should definitely consider getting them since the labor is practically 0 if you're doing the shocks and springs anyway. Hit up Tbyrne for a killer price.

I'm getting jittery waiting for pricing, lol.
