I had to replace my KMC Jacks&Five because the press on stainless rims came loose and squeaked loudly. So Discount Tire replaced them with KMC820s, FREE. Well after 1000 miles these wheels are doing the same thing.

I am now looking away from the stainless rim wheel and I'm open to other designs and finishes. I really want to stay with 18" wheels but there are not many options in this size.

I don't want flashy but I do like chrome. (both KMC's were Black 5 Spoke with stainless rim)
I want wheels that says Beast not Beauty.
Any suggestion?

Sorry to hear of your wheel problems, have you looked at American Racing for wheels?

Yes, I do like the Torque Thrust but they do not make 18s.
My last resort is to go with 20s but my tires only have 7000 miles on them.

Ya not much to go on with 18's, are you going to get these replaced throu Discount also, cause they can order any type of rims for you. Tire rack has those American Racing Torque Thrust M's for $234 each. Don't know the price of the KMC's.

I don't really like the spokes with groves cut in them.
From what I've seen, the Torque Thrust are the closest thing to what I like.

I would have gone with the Torque Thrust M's if my mind wasn't set on the Foose Nitrous that I got. They are good looking rims, hope you find something that will work for you.:)

Thanks, I'm sure there's something out there that will satisfy my taste.

I paid $180 for the AR TTII Chrome in 20's locally here.
You can do better than $235.

Well, I'm stuck with Discount Tire. They are holding a $740 credit for my KMC wheels.

I did that with my tires. I didn't think to try that when getting replacements.
Thanks.
