Actual delivery times, distances and methods

Every now and then someone posts how long it takes for their ORDER to get to them once shipped. More frequently people ask how long to expect it to take for their pending ORDER or ongoing shipment. So can we put all that info INTO one thread?

For instance, my vehicle was shipped on 11/6, is going by truck 550 miles. No ETA yet but I will update. So, simply put:

Ship date: 11/6
Distance: 550 miles
Method: Truck
Delivery date: ?

Anyone else?

By train then truck. About 1200 miles. 10 days FROM factory to delivery

Mine was shipped 8-16 by train to the Chicago area, then by truck 100 miles to my dealer, 5 days FROM the time it left Brampton was all !!!

Mine was shipped on 10/26 and still hasn't arrived yet (14 days and counting). A week ago it was in Boston, so I am not sure what is taking it so long to get to NJ.

No doubt a week ago the car was in New Boston, MI, near Detroit, MI. not Boston, MA. It will probably get to your dealer the end of this week or early next week.

Mine was built 10/21, I'm not sure when it hit the rail, but it was shipped by rail to Mesquite (east of Dallas), and then trucked up to Frisco (north of Dallas), and was delivered to me 11/08.

I was told that the dealer had gotten it in the morning of the 8th, and it spent the day in final delivery checks and prep / detail. I wouldn't be surprised if it had gotten to the dealer over the weekend, and they just let it sit there until Monday to do anything with it.

Just spoke to my dealer and my cool vanilla "C" was received this afternoon. :D :D :D :D

Here is my ordering and delivey timeline:

8/9 - Placed Order
9/16 - D status (FIrm Schedule - dealer has allocation)
10/19 - D1 (scheduled to be built)
10/26 - KZ (Released by Plant - built)
10/29 - KZL (Released not Shipped)

Left Brampton via Norfolk Southern on 10/29 arrived in Michigan. Left Michigan 11/1 for Kansas City. Arrived in Mitchell, IL 11/3. Arrived in Munsie, KS 11/5. Transferred FROM Norfolk Southern to Union Pacific intermodle on 11/7. Arrived and unloaded at Cassen Transportation Co.'s Kansas City terminal at 5pm 11/8. Tracked my "C" using its VIN# at www.cassens.com on 11/9 and showed it was delivered to Jay Wolfe Chrysler in Lee's Summit, MO this afternoon.

Unfortunately, I am going to be out of town until Friday and won't be able to pick it up until Saturday. Oh well, I'll be in Vegas. Who knows, maybe I'll strike it big and won't bother coming back. I'll just have the car shipped to me out there!!!

New train to Memphis.
Truck to Springfield, MO.

Hi Gang,

My new base Cool Vanilla 300 sedan came in 1 month almost to the day that I ordered it. I ordered my 300 on 11/8 and picked it up 12/6. As of tonight, I have approximately 270 miles on the clock. HAVING a blast driving it. It was shipped FROM Brampton on 11/30 and arrived on 12/5 with delivery taking place on 12/6.
