Progressive Dodge has an '07 Magnum that I'm interested in. I live in Cincinnati, and I really don't want to drive 250 miles to find out that these guys are jerks and want to pull my chain all day long.

Has anyone worked with these guys before? What's your opinion? If you bought a car here recently and can recommend a salesman, that would be even better.

Thanks!

Bad place. Only ones I would recommend are Great Northern Dodge in North Olmsted and Strongsville Dodge. All the other places around here are A holes and wont even let me in the showroom to inquire about an SRT8. I have been to Massilon, Cleveland, Parma, you name it when I wanted one back in 2005. Maybe they have hired new people, but I didnt like it in 2005. I would really suggest Great Northern Dodge though. One of the guys in the body shop is really knowledgeable there and has even searched around for SRT8s for me, so Im sure he could find you a nice car.

However, cant you have the car shipped to a Cincy location so you dont have to drive???

I'm thinking that if I go to the dealer that has the car, I'll have the upper hand when it comes to bargaining. Most likely, it's been there a while and they want to get rid of it, so they'll deal with me. If I have a dealer in Cincy get it for me, then, since it doesn't do a whole lot to their inventory, they'd probably feel put out and wouldn't work with me on the price as much. I got a much better deal when I got my '05 by driving to Ann Arbor to get that one! All the local guys didn't want to try to get the car I wanted from Ann Arbor, so I went straight to the horse's mouth. Got a great deal!

I'm trying to find an '07 with the Nav, protection group, and moon roof. AWD would be nice, but not necessary. I also am open to an '08, but the 07s have a $3500 rebate which is hard to pass up! Either way, I get the lifetime powertrain warranty.

Progressive? Find out the owners name... I cant think of the guy, but I am from Canton Ohio, and I am almost positive I bought a Pontiac from their store years ago. If I am not mistaken they are a family business one name Richard damn if I can remember the last name. They are members of the Shady Hollow Country Club in Massillon where I was once a assistant pro...

Dick Holland... Thats is Holland. See if that is the family I am thinking of... They are VERY COOL people. Deal with the son Richard.

I am looking for a new one. The lifetime powertrain warranty is not transferrable. I currently have a loaded '05 R/T with 79k miles on it and I figure that now is a good time to trade in for a new one ('07) to take advantage of the year end rebate of $3500. I'm trying to keep my car payments at the same ($580 for 60 mos). I can get a 4.9% loan from my bank and I owe slightly less than $11k on my car. KBB says that it's worth anywhere from $13500 to $14500. The car I'm interested in at Progressive is at the top end of my price range, but it would be nice to have a warranty again. For me, color isn't all that important....especially now that they don't do Midnight Blue anymore....those buggers!

[1st Auto Trader Link]

And heres one right by you!

[2nd Auto Trader Link]

Thanks for the research. I took a look at Cars.com already. Unfortunately, that site doesn't tell me which options come with each car. I don't want one bad enough to call every dealer within 250 miles either....sadly, I don't have that kind of free time anymore (ahh...miss those college days).

I tried the 1st auto trader link....it said that there were no results.

Then I tried the second link....for the AWD at Kingd CJD. I've seen this car. It's missing several of the features I'd like. I thought about buying that car, but I didn't want to buy a lesser car than what I already have.

If I can't find a good deal on one soon, I'll probably bite the bullet and keep my '05 until it dies. I have 19 more payments left!!! At 25K miles per year, I hope it will last 3-4 more years.

Thanks for all your help though. I really appreciate it. People like you are what makes this forum the best on the net!

I have to go up to my dealer later, so I will ask him to do a search for me on 07s with nav, moonroof, and protection. I will let you know later if I can find anything for CHEAP/New.
