Here's an off the wall question. I don't know if it's my dash, but my instrument backlight is about 2 times brighter then the backlights for the center dash controls (HVAC, Radio, Clock)

With the brightness on full min (all the way dim) the speedo, tach, etc are just about the right brightness, but the HVAC Icons and radio buttons are not lit enough to read them. I know I can probably memorize the radio, but the HVAC is exactly reverse of my Ram and my wife's Caravan. (look at the output selector for the caravan and ram vs the LXs, the complete reverse.) I still end up in Max Recirc instead of Defrost in the dark with the windsheild fogging up...

Secondly -- anyone come across a new gauge "sticker" for the 300?

I agree.

I have a Magnum RT with the same issue. If I dim the display so the speedo and such is at the desired brightness, everything else is too dim.

As I stated in previous posts, have a look at the window switches in the darkest night, no matter how bright you get it you can't see the damn things unless you hold your head 6" over them, I complained about them on my first dealer visit and got the usual response "it's to spec".
Hell how can you see the road and peek down for the window switch, I keep opening the back driver door by mistake. There should be some sort of balance with all these lighting areas.

Paul.

I have this problem too.

I agree Paul, there needs to be a way to adjust the light 'balance'.
