john boy?

hey book, I have a caliper and can measure mine tonight, I am guessing 28mm to 30mm diameter from simply looking at it.

that would be great if u do, hopefully theres a set in polyurathane to fit our cars, i was looking at my rubber oem ones and they look like they take a beating, not as tight to the bar and round as they should be..

Ok guys here's what I got, SE sway bar diameter according to my dial is 1.015" or 25mm. I would have sworn it was a tad bigger but I was just guessing in the last post. Bookem I hope this helps you out. It was good research as I have been contemplating poly bushings as well.

bringing this back from the grave, lol

will it be as simple as me driving the front wheels up on ramps, removing the bracket bushing sheilds, the brackets, pulling out the old bushings, sliding the new ones on, putting the bushing brackets back on then the sheilds, or will there be tension on the bar making it hard to get back in place once the brackets are removed..

thanks guys, looking to swap these out myself, ive done it before on another car, just want to make sure it will go as easily, and its the same procedure..

Looking at the generic bushing on the website, it does not look like those would work. It appears that the bushings have a flat bottom and our stock bushings are round all the way around. the bushing should have a split in them so you do not have to take the whole bar off. You may have to lift the front end up a little to relieve some pressure.
