i was driving home minding my own business and outta nowhere an f-150 started to rev his exhaust right by my side. so we stop at a traffic light. i thought i had no chance at all in beating him adn as soon as the light turned green we slammed the gas pedal.

we were head to head for like 5 seconds and i was 1 car ahead after that. so i slightly pressed my brake since i beat him so im driving the normal speed again and he pulls up next to me going 45 speed limit. so he steps on it and i was a little late so i stepped on it too and he was a car ahead since he got an advantage and soon after i caught up.

i didnt realize f-150's were slow. either that or my mods rilly paid off. just installed the airhammer on thursday night so many thanks goes out to REV for making an awesome intake.
:pepper:

has anyone else killed an f-150?

Good kill. The AirHammer HO really helps at higher revs (around 4,000). You might get beat or be even off the line but once you hit the sweet spot you're gone. I'm really happy with the performance boost with my AirHammer.

That's cool. I used to have an Airaid too. It will be up for sale soon.

Hmmm, I replaced an Airraid as well. I liked the sound, but never felt it really added anything to the horsepower. I like the HO sound MUCH more (o' course, we removed the silencer as well when we installed it), and it definately seems to go better than before.
