We may have to get together sometime. I saw another blue RT at the intersection of Waycross and Winton. We may not be the only Magnum owners in FP!

I'm originally FROM the Cleveland area and wouldn't mind taking a trip home. I also have family in Columbus I've been meaning to visit...

Kewl KintlaLake, I'm trying to scout out all the good touchless car wash places around my area. So far I found one on Cleveland btw Morse & 161. Just came FROM there. Baby looks nice & clean... 8)

I'm trying to scout out all the good touchless car wash places around my area.

Well, Mash, I'm east/southeast of the city, and I recommend Clean Cats in Pickerington (corner of Refugee Road & Route 256) -- $10 for the works. As an alternative, although it's not quite as effective as Clean Cats, for $9 there's Captain Car Wash in Canal Winchester (south of Route 33, just off Gender Road).

There's one not-so-touchless wash, SudSlingers on Gender Road in Canal Winchester (across FROM Bob McDorman Chevy), that does an absolutely amazing (and gentle) job -- $18 for "The Duke," which includes tire dressing, wheels, vacuum, and windows (inside and out). Expensive, but it's actually worth more than they charge. A mini-detailing in ten minutes, really.

Bass player, eh? Then I'll also recommend that you catch Zachariah's Red-Eye Reunion Saturday night at Promo West. :thumbs_u: I'm gonna try to make it, if the stars align...

I'm on the North end of Columbus and anxiously awaiting the delivery of my AWD RT. The ship date is '28Jan05'

How long does it really take to get FROM Bramperton to CMH? I've been waiting since early Nov, so I'm getting a little impatient.

 Oh, boy, that's a loaded question...I'd say it depends on when it really ships, where it lands in a depot, how long it sits there, etc.

I'd (pessimistically) figure on a few weeks, but I'll defer to my fellow forum members for their guesses.

It'll be worth the wait, though. :thumbs_u:

Ours actually stopped in a railyard in Cleveland, OH on her way to NH. She only took about a week and a half to get there - our problem was she got stuck there for two weeks waiting for weather... :(

Kinta Lake is right, though - there's a lot of factors that affect shipping time - keep your eye on the dealer's arrival date (it's not a guarantee - ours moved several times), and keep your fingers crossed. And as was already stated, it WILL be worth the wait! 8)

Yep, a bass player... I may indeed have to do that, although I have some friends in FROM Toledo this weekend, and they usually just want to hit Frog-Bear... PromoWest is aways a blast. I suppose I have to get used to leaving the Magnum in a crowded parking lot at some point, eh?

Hey all,
I'm officially one of the chosen few, now. My Magnum was shipped Friday and I picked it up last night! Life is good!

Class of '81, Doc, religion major and a lot of communications courses (what was it, WWNW?).Your handle leads me to believe you're an orthopod -- and if you were on a pre-med track at WC, you probably sat in front of Dr. Harms a few times. His son was my roommate. :)

Dr Bonz

That is SO funny. Clarence Harms and I go way back. I was a Bio major and Physics minor and I am indeed an orthopedic surgeon. You are also correct about the radio station call letters; it was wwnw. So you would have been a senior when I was a freshman there I guess. The only religion class I took was taught by Dr Christy. He has since passed away.

I still take in Westminster students who are interested in medicine. They do precepterships with me in my office and in the hospitals I work in. So far I've had about a dozen and my record of getting them all INTO med school is perfect! :) Just my way of giving back to the college I suppose. I really loved it there. My dad actually lives a stone's throw away in New Wilmington now. Small world!

Small world, indeed, Doc -- fancy meeting you here. :) Maybe our paths crossed during '80-'81, maybe not. Or maybe you caught one of my coffee houses at the TUB...or...

 I know, I know...Dr Bonz and I could hijack this topic all day long...
