I just ordered a Magnum RT without the Nav system. But now I am thinking that I would like the Nav system. Are there any monthly or yearly fees?
A secondary benefit of the Nav system is that it comes with an upgraded sound system. Is the 288 Watt sound system a significant improvement over the base radio?

There are no fees with the NAV system. However, if you want to UPDATE the DVD, there's a $150.00 charge. You shouldn't need to do that for a couple of years.
The sound I get with the Nav radio is great. It also comes with a year's subscription to Sirius which is really terrific. Enjoy!

You get a year's subscrition of Sirius with the NAV? If I had known that, I would have ordered satellite as well!

You get a free year of sirius no matter what. With or without the NAV.
Also, you can put the Satellite radio in later, I just put mine in myself, and when you activate it you get a year free. They can tell by the Serial Number that it is a Chrysler/Dodge serial number.
When I ordered my magnum the sirius was $135 option... 12/month = 144... Free year, net to chrysler/sirius $-9 but then there's one more sirius subscription... We all know how sirius is behind XM so even if the subscriber is free for a year it still boosts their ratings...
