Are they real multi-piece wheels?
Even if they are, those exposed rivets kill it for me.

Wow! That has to be a sinking feeling! This is one of the downs of modding, BUT you have to love modding to understand. You take it on the chin(and wallet) and move on.
You can get your money back right? Since you never mounted a tire to them?

Oh I AM going to return them for the full money back....espically cause I was told by the company I bought them from they would fit.

Well at least you are getting your money back.
Check out this thread over at 3CF Nathan. Look at the R5's. A few pics down they have a black-painted version. You can order custom wheel widths. I asked for wheel weights, and the forged R5 in 22" weighs 24 lbs (!) and the 20" is about 21 lbs. Makes them the lightest wheels I know of.

Also their R55 is pretty close to what you had above once they coat it black.

Nathan, That bites, I got the same BBK you do, Have you found any 17" that will fit the fronts? I just got my custom 17" rears with MT 315's DR's and now I need front 17" so I can get a full set of 17" road racing tires. This way Im set up for drag/road race on 17".

These looked even better in person. We tried to see what it would take to get them on over those calipers, but nothing short of surgery was going to work.

yeah Skunk boy is right, just wouldn't fit

i asked bones about those and he told me 20x10s on all 4 corners would fit. another site www.performanceplustire.com (http://www.performanceplustire.com) says the same thing.

They will fit a STANDARD brake setup, I have the Brembo Big Brake kit on my front....I did not try the 20 x 10 rim but I dont see how it would fit on my car any better.
Redfox0099
09-16-2007, 01:29 AM
Looking at this pic does anyone think the 20 X 10 would have a better chance of fitting???

What's the diameter on your rotors?? Stock Brembos are right around 14", right?
Redfox0099
09-16-2007, 03:01 PM
15.5" rotors, 8 Piston Calipers
These wheels WILL and do fit a stock SRT-8...just not the Brembo Big Brake kit.

Just grind down your calipers Nathan! ;)
Redfox0099
09-16-2007, 09:12 PM
NO I measured..
The place that sold them to me supposedly looked at my car since I pointed out the fact I had bigger brakes... apparently they didn't look hard enough.

um, I know you are joking but I am not going to grind a 1/4" off a $7000 set of brakes...
I don't like these wheels THAT much.

at 1" it would be an adapter..my srt8 is at the body shop...i didnt want my 22's on it while getting painted and such..it blew my mind i boguth some cheap 100 sxt wheels/tires...factory brembos fit fine in rear and the front i had to have a 1.200" adapter made to put these stocks on at the body shop..in socal theres quite a few rim repair places one down the street has a full machine shop been doing business for years whipped me out a set of alluminum adapters for the front of my car...its just a thought

Hey Redfox. Look up the Dub Dirty Dog 5's im almost positive they come in 22's as well. as opposed to what most mentioned. these truly are almost identical wheels
http://adaptivestrategies.com/DUB-DirtyDog5.jpg
i like how the lugs on these are almsot part of the spokes rather than outside of them like the ones you showed. Ive been eyebaling these for a while ande just wish i could afford em ;(
