I wanted something lighter than the steel Crager wheels yet cheaper than the $400 Centerlines for my DR's.....so here they are.Reproduction Cobra R wheels and M&H 275/50/17 DR's.The tires measure 27.5" tall and the rim is a 17x9 with a + 24 offset. They weigh about 45lbs each....considerably lighter than the Crager and DR.They clear the caliper of the SRT and there is plenty of clearance between the tire and everything behind it.Best part is the wheels were less than $150 each! Thanks to 402 Motoring for working with me to get this right!

Very cool bud. Hey by chance would ya try those on the fronts and see if they clear the calipers. Thanks.

hmmm, I almost embarrased to say " I like that" Let's see a picture of them showing the entire car. Maybe get BT to put out a wheel center for it...... The only issue is that it would be readily recognizable by most that it is a Ford wheel and I might get kicked off LXF if I put those on for everyday use.

I can't blame you a bit for using them for the DRs.

Sweet lookin' Erik!

Yeah, no way they'd fit the front....

So, do they do a package deal with halfshafts?

Do you offer any DR's besides the M&H? Perhaps Nitto or MT 245/45/17's? Not that I don't like the M&H, but us RT guys need a shorter tire to make up for the lack of gearing....

I already had the M&H's......not sure what 402 is going to offer.

Do you think they would fit the front using those spacers the guy on the SRT8OC used to get the SXT wheels to fit on the front of his SRT8?

Hemi31
09-06-2007, 08:51 PM
NO!They will not fit the front! The SXT wheels that dude ran were only 7" rims if even that. And I wouldn't run a 1" spacer for all the money in the world. That means you only have about 1/4" of threads holding the wheels on:doh:

I have been asking for a DR setup from 402 motoring. This is exactly what I was asking Jason to find me. I hope this package is avaliable very soon.

No prob I will drop this but I think you are slightrly wrong from what I can see from the pic of the Spacer...the spacer bolts to the wheel hub and then the wheel bolts onto studs sticking off the spacer.

Sorry for the hijack.

Ok....didn't realize he was using that style.....still won't fit though.Still wouldn't trust a spacer on the front wheels though.

5x115 bolt pattern?5x114.3 Greg.....but they are hubcentric with the rings.Remember...this is a drag only wheel. Not running the roads like this.

yeah 5x114.3 would be fine just for the strip, just wondering was all.

with the shafts, drag radials and tomahawk cam, you are going to be in the 11's all motor, when the good weather arrives.....
