Well saturday morning I got up 6am to do an oil change before heading to Irwindale Track that afternoon. I run my car up on the ramps, grabbed the drain pan, 13mm wrench and headed under. As the oil was draining and lying there waiting to loosen the filter, I looked over to the steer tires. Boy did I get a surprise.
Not to change the subject, but 10 days earlier I had my car aligned, and every week I check the tire pressure, well this is what I seen on the L/F inside tire edge..

So I started calling shops to find new tires, it wasn't easy, knowone stocked 22s. Everyone said they could have them Tuesday, well that ment it sat in the garage all holiday weekend, NO WAY... I called a local Goodyear shop and he said he would send someone to the warehouse to get 4 new one for me and be back by noon. He came through, I drove it over to him (slowly) and by 2pm I was on my way to meet the group at Irwindale, which I caught up with them on the 5.
I used to have 265/30/22, but didn't like the ride and was always draging backing in the garage. Now I went with Yokahama Parada Spec-X 265/35/R22 much better ride and I don't drag the front anymore. Here are a few pictures of the new ones. What do you think? Do they fit the wheelwell?
