For guys lusting for the hemi power but not wanting to spend the extra cash, you need to check out the new Avenger with the 3.5L. Last month while shopping for a car for my wife, we were loaned a brand new Avenger for 3 days by the dealer to test drive. I didn't run my 05 Magnum 5.7 side by side but it would not surprise me if that car with its 6 speed auto/stick would not stay with or outrun my Mag with its SuperChip. Car reviewers have described it as a three quarter size Charger and they do look just like that. We didn't buy it for her but I saw a black one with tinted windows on the road later and it sure looked sharp. My wife liked it but found an 07 Chrysler 300T and fell in love.

How was the ride compared to the Magnum? Most of the smaller cars don't ride as nice as the larger ones. I agree that the Avenger is a nice looking car! I like the lines!

I got to see a few of them this weekend as I came home from the Grand Canyon; they looked pretty good as I blew by them in the Daytona. I am considering getting one for my son as I think it would be a great car for the commute to his new job. With the finance deals they now have available It may just be too good a deal to pass on. I will be looking at the Caliber as well.

Car and driver recorded a 0-60 of 6.8 Secs for the Sebring 3.5 which is essentially the same car. Sounds about right. So, not quite as fast as a Hemi Charger or Magnum, but a bit faster than the 3.5 LX's because of being a smaller car with less weight. I for one, don't see why they styled it so much to look like a baby Charger. Should've given it it's own distinctive look.

it's styled like a baby charger to boost sales overseas. Gives the "muscle" look in a smaller package.
