Why is it that people have a big problem with Dodge?
Dodge has proven them selves to be more then a contender in the performance part of the automotive industry.
But yet they get talked about by every one.
I got these from a Camaro board. Tell me what u guys think.
Is it all in fun?
Or are u guys sick of the trash talkin?

Its all about mines bigger than yours. How many guys are gonna whip it out to prove it? They rip on dodge because Dodge is the big Dog like the comercial says 1st muscle car 1st to hit 200mph we got the hemi,rats mouse engines pony cars, these are things you see in petting zoos and merry go rounds we got The Big Horses and RAM POWER! Dodge is a trend setter their wee wees just can't STAND up to our pee pees so they have to be the aggressors and try make everyone back down, my 2 cents

It happens on ALL the forums. Someone mentions another make and it begins,even here. The members on forums love THEIR car and will brag and bash others. Not everyone loves our cars and vice versa. I don't worry about what others think, I'm happy with what I bought and I don't have to prove anything to anyone. I don't dislike other makes of cars, it's the idiot behind the wheel that does stupid things that bothers me.

I will admit that the Nitro does look good.
And the Challenger photo is funny.
But these came from the new Camaro board.
If anyone wants to take shots back I will be more than happy to post them. I would but I cant photochop.
Its a whole lot more to this but Im not tryin to start a big inet battle or somethin.

Well like I said to me there is nothin wrong with friendly trash talkin.
But at the same time it almost seems a tad bit personal or it could just be me im man enough to admit that. This might have started with me postin in a thread about the confirmation of the SRT8 Challenger. Alot of people said they still are not going to worry about it because of the Challengers weight. I replyed that the down fall of the Challenger to me will be the lack of pcm tuning not the cars weight. I mean the weight has alot to do with it but not as much as the lack of aftermarket. They came back sayin that the Camaro will have the advantage because its lighter. This just went on and on and on. To the point where I started to point out that basically Chevy is only kickin Dodge's butt in one catergory and thats the Viper vs Vette battle. Every thing else sport compact, performance pick ups, suv's they are not ranked number one. It shouldnt have turned into all of that but at the same time I just figured they would have some repect for the car as they have shown that even if the cars are heavy they still can run.
Oh if you ask why i am on the board any way its because I want a new Camaro in 09.
As far as the pics go. I want a new Camaro but I still respect the Challenger. I can poke fun at both rides. Just seemed that it went over board. Not sayin the whole board is like that. Just a couple of people.

I love my Magnum, but I have an LS1 Trans Am with the standard bolt ons (and 175K miles) and it will run away from all but the most modified cars on here. The weight is the reason. I can't imagine how much money I'll have to throw at my AWD Magnum to get it to run a consistant mid 12 quarter mile. I love the Dodge styling, comfort and roominess though.

of course, but thats not what this thread is about. It was about Dodges being pieces of S#!t. Although our cars may not be naturally fast, the purpose of one isnt to go beat every car on the street, just like camero/mustang owners dont plan on carrying 5 people and luggage/etc in their vehicles.

Just ignore them and stop going to their boards. If all else fails, crush them when you meet them on the street. If they are superior, they will emerge victorious. If you are, you will win. It's simple really. I'd never go to a bowtie board and expect them to tell me how great Dodge was, that's even dumber than them believing all Dodges are crap. On the tank part, they're right, Dodges are Tanks, but what they fail to recognize is that can be a good thing too. I like my tanklike 5 star crash rating.
